First, Washington Irving, an important historical individual from the Hudson Valley, is featured by hosts Andy Reid and Mike Porter. Washington Irving works include the short stories “Rip Van Winkle” (1819) and “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” (1820). In the second hour, Catskill artist Richard "Rip Van" Wagoner will preview plans for the Awakening of Rip Van Winkle festival, scheduled for Sat., June 22 at Dutchman's Landing Park at the Catskill Point.

The show features local news, interviews with community leaders and personalities, a rundown of local and regional events, weather updates, and more about and for the community.
