Today we are presenting From Tango to Flamenco and all Piano music in between with Music from Argentina, Cuba, Mexico, Spain, Peru and Colombia.

We start the show with Piazzolla Oblivion, with Anna Allevi, followed by a triumphal Milonga, written and in this case recorded by Mariano Mores titled Taquito Militar, after that in this trio of songs, Bebo Valdes from Cuba and his trio with a Bolero Potpourri.

The show includes works of Ariel Ramirez, Ernesto Lecouna, Pedro Castro, Manuel Bernal, Chabuca Granda and Armando Manzanero.

“Nuestra Música,” “Our Music,” presents the rhythms and folklore of Latin America, Spain, Portugal, and Cape Verde. From Tango to Flamenco and all Latinx music in between. The show explores the native instruments, languages, and traditions played in 22 countries and one territory. Other than Spanish and Portuguese, "Nuestra Música" presents songs in Quechua, Mapuche, Guaraní, Nahuatl, Gallego, Spanish Basque, and Catalán. Among many styles we present: Tango, Chacarera, Baguala, Zamba with a Z and Samba with an S, Bossa Nova, Cumbia, Llanero, Vallenato, Merengue, Parrandera, Son, Bolero, Ranchera, Corrido, Marimba, Fado, Flamenco, Sevillanas, Jota, Blues, Jazz, Danzon, Mambo, and many more.
