Delia Derbyshire's "Inventions For Radio 1: The Dreams" and "The Piano Tuning" by Chantal Dumas are featured. "Inventions for Radio1: The Dreams" was created in 1964 by the British electronic music composer Derbyshire in collaboration with writer Barry Bermange. In 1960 Derbyshire joined the BBC as a trainee studio manager, and later led the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, working on the "Doctor Who" theme, and many other electronic experiments. Dumas produced "The Piano Tuning" for German radio in 2010. Chantal Dumas is a sound artist based in Montreal. Since 1984, Dumas has worked with compositions, radio art, sound narratives, sound installations, and sound design.
