This month's Prison Voices Project features an interview with Judith Brink, of the Prison Action Network. Judith discusses how she first got involved in the fight to transform the criminal justice system, the newsletter "Building Bridges" which is distributted to over 180 people incarcerated in new york, and the battle to make legislative changes. The show also introduces the new critically acclaimed film "Herman's house" which asks the question, “What kind of house does a man who has lived in a six-foot-by-nine-foot cell for over 30 years dream of?” This is a film about Herman Wallace, a man who has spent the majority of his life in solitary confinement, and a new york city artist as they embark on a creative journey that brings attention to the injustice of solitary confinement.
