WGXC Morning Show: Extinction Rebellion Capital Region, Ted Hilscher (Audio)

Extinction Rebellion Capital Region is planning a public art action targeting Albany County Legislators through Tuesday July 28. They will use light projection on area buildings to "Tell the Truth" about the Lafarge Cement Plant in Coeymans and the Norlite incinerator in Cohoes. Hear the story from WGXC's partner station WOOC in the first hour. After the news at 10 a.m., the July edition of "Rob Around the County." Rob Gelles speaks with attorney Ted Hilscher, an Associate Professor of History at Columbia-Greene Community College, about the digital collection of photographs documenting the buildings that formerly lined Front Street in Hudson before urban redevelopment in the 1970s. The photographs were donated to CGCC by Arthur Koweek, chairman the Hudson City Planning Commission during that period. The interview was conducted May 12, 2020.
