Catskill Cabin Conversations: Jim Hopson (Audio)

Sep 17, 2019

Jim Hopson worked for ten years in the broadcast industry, in roles that included news and program director at two radio stations, and for 29 years in the security field for New York State. Now retired, he has followed his passion to explore the mountains and wilderness of the Northeast. Jim succeeded in ascending the 46 Adirondack High Peaks and has completed the Adirondack's 100 highest summits. In addition, he has ascended the 200 highest Catskill Mountains and will shortly complete Vermont's 100 highest summits. He is a board member of Beavers, Wetlands and Wildlife (BWW) and a member of Dolgeville Forward. He lives in Dolgeville with his wife Caryl and their two cats, Peek-a-Mouse and Meowy.

On each show, invited guests are asked to discuss a number of items that they would take with them to their Catskill Cabin get-away. As Mike and Andy discuss their chosen items, it is intended that you, the listener, will enjoy getting to know each guest that little bit better.
