Panelists: Gary Shaw, an original member of the Indian Point Safe Energy Coalition, was the lead writer of the short documentary "Indian Point: Nowhere to Run." Manna Jo Greene, Clearwater’s Environmental Director since 2000, and former Recycling Coordinator/Educator for the Ulster County Resource Recovery Agency. Greene currently serves in the Ulster County Legislature representing District 19, which includes the towns of Rosendale and Marbletown. Cecilia Tkaczyk is a former state Senator and host of "The Albany Report" on WGXC 90.7-FM. She was the first state senator to introduce and push for legislation that banned the importation of fracking waste. Tkaczyk raises heritage Jacob sheep on a small farm in Schenectady County.Jennifer Thurston is the director of the Information Network for Responsible Mining (INFORM). Based in Norwood, Colorado, her work is focuses on monitoring impacts of mining and reforming regulations. She was profiled in the 2013 documentary, "Uranium Drive-In."
