Summer research results in a program featuring a selection of poems and poem-songs originally circulated via compact disc. Artists performing their work here include Amina Baraka, Rodrigo Toscano, Sawako Nakayasu, Edwin Torres, Sparrow, Pedro Pietri, Augusto de Campos, Jackson Mac Low, Anne Waldman, Joanne Kyger, Eileen Myles, Brenda Coultas, Tuli Kupferberg, Allen Ginsberg, Tory Miller, Jean Gier/Sybl Glebow, Angela B. Coon, Elisabeth Belile, and Richard Loranger.

Blending words and sounds, bringing to the airwaves live performances as well as field and studio recordings by writers the host has crossed paths with over the course of a quarter century.
