In the first hour, a visit from Ryder Cooley, singer/songwriter and founder of local band The Dust Bowl Faeries, who will be appearing on Sunday, May 7 at Helsinki Hudson. "Tear of the Clouds" is a unique performance of collaborative music, dance, and ritual created by Dust Bowl Faeries and Luis Mojica. In the second hour, a conversation with Ted Banta, real estate broker and former Cairo Town Supervisor, about concerns and trends in the current housing market; and with Hudson Talbott, children's book author and community organizer, about the new Catskill Tree Council. Plus a short recorded interview with Eugenia Zukerman, flutist and Classics on Hudson artistic director, who discusses her career and lifetime of volunteer work. Also featuring songs by James Brown, who was born on May 3, 1933. The show features local news, interviews with community leaders and personalities, a rundown of local and regional events, weather updates, and more about and for the community.
