Chris Bub grew up in Delmar, NY as one of five kids from parents that are both one of five. Throughout high school and college, he worked for his father’s electrical contracting business, LeGallez Electric. He attended college at SUNY Brockport, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. Originally, he planned to take over his father’s business, but decided that he should explore his options utilizing the degree he just earned. Soon after college, he moved to NYC to live in a small shoe box while he worked as a fund accountant for the Bank of New York. After passing the first level of the Chartered Financial Analysis Institute and taking a two-month trip around the U.S., he accepted a position at Manning & Napier, a national financial management firm based out of Rochester, NY. He spent six years with Manning and Napier, assisting on their separately managed accounts and bond portfolios. In October of 2016, he moved back to Albany, NY to re-unite with a long-term girlfriend and to be closer to the Adirondacks and Catskills. Currently, he works as a credit analyst for the Bank of Greene County. He enjoy activities such as hiking, playing hockey, snowboarding, fishing, and golf. His passions include economics, mentoring, and thinking about the world.
