The electronic works of composer Earl Howard in concerts recorded for the Roulette Concert Series in New York in 2009 and 2012 featuring a solo performance, a duo with Miya Masaoka on koto, and a seven piece ensemble with Wu Wei (sheng, erhu), Alan Jaffe (guitar), Miya Masaoka (koto), Ernst Reijseger (cello), Mark Dresser (bass), and Harris Eisenstadt (percussion). The award-wining composer, improviser, and performer Howard, also a virtuoso saxophonist, is a Guggenheim and Fromm Foundation awardee. His electronic sounds were created primarily with the Kurzweil K2600 sampling keyboard.
