WGXC Morning Show: Jeff Rovitz, Dan Almasi, Brian Stewart (Audio)

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month (May), WGXC Station Manager Lynn Sloneker, WGXC Programmer and local activist Alan Skerrett join host Cheryl K. for a conversation with local mental health service providers in Columbia and Greene counties. Guests will be Jeff Rovitz, Executive Director, Mental Health Association of Columbia and Greene Counties, Dan Almasi, Director of Human Services of Columbia County, and Brian Stewart, Program Director of Unit 5A at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, NY.

Some reports come from our partner station, WOOC-LP in Troy, out of The Sanctuary for Independent Media. Tom Roe also cuts up local and national news with songs and sounds for the show. At 9 a.m. "The WGXC Daily," with local headlines, weather, and previews of community events, airs. At 10 a.m., national headlines from Public News Service are on WGXC. Sometimes national, state, or local press conferences, meetings, or events are broadcast live here.
