In the first hour, multi-media artist Matt Bua will discuss the public art project commemorating 200 years since the publication of Washington Irving's tale of "Rip van Winkle", and The Awakened Rip Eye Opening Ceremony, which will take place on Wed., Aug. 8 in the Village of Catskill. In the second hour, monthly feature with Liz Kirkhus, Membership Director and Events Coordinator at the Greene County Chamber of Commerce, about upcoming activities with local businesses, entrepreneurs and organizations. "Catskill Tuesdays" begin with the WGXC Morning Show, a radio magazine show featuring local news, interviews with community leaders and personalities, a rundown of public meetings, local and regional events, with weather updates, and more about and for the community. Includes "Mr. Peetie Pete's Picks": healthy music, no fillers, and a hootenanny of a good time. Broadcast live from the Carnegie Room of the Catskill Library.
