Starting in 2025, three markets are presented each year: Spring Market Mother’s Day weekend in May, Summer Market in July, and Holiday Market during Thanksgiving weekend, co-curated and programmed with LikeMindedObjects.
Also joining Selha G and Tommy D is car enthusiast Luis Ayala Rivera of Mandingo Towing and Service in Hudson.
Selha G and Tommy D host lively conversation with community members, business owners, civic leaders, and more. Broadcasting live from either The Spark of Hudson, the Hudson Thursday Market, or other locations out and about in the community.
Selha Graham is a dynamic cohost of the Thursday Afternoon Show on WGXC 90.7 FM, where she brings her vibrant personality and insightful perspectives to the airwaves. A proud Jamaican-born woman and community advocate, Selha is deeply passionate about engaging with local voices and sharing stories that matter. Beyond her role at WGXC, she is a dedicated entrepreneur and mother of seven, balancing her professional and personal life with grace and determination. Selha's unique blend of charisma and authenticity makes her a cherished part of the WGXC family and a voice for the Hudson Valley community.
Tommy D, born and raised in Yonkers, N.Y., tries to forget on air that he's also a local elected official. To do that he relies on his years of listening to late-night talk radio under the bedcovers, where he learned all about the weird and wacky of our beloved world. You might say that he's wearing different hats, or, if you're fancy, you can say he's developed multiple personae. His radio self is closest to his id, that messy part of the unconscious that unleashes itself in strange ways. Many of which come to the fore every week on Thursday at four. Tommy D hates most work, drives a beat up car, and exploits his family members on the air. Fortunately, they never listen, and most are dead. He's lived in Hudson, N.Y. now for over twenty years, and feels that he's finally found a home, though some might wish otherwise.
