Errant Space: Episode 48 - Four Years Later, with Mark Trecka (Audio)

Feb 07, 2026

This month’s podcast is a collaboration with Mark Trecka who processes cassette tapes, voice and bells to create beautiful, textured soundscapes.

Also! this podcast, number 48, marks four years of the Errant Space Podcast! It's been a very good experience for me; I’ve met and collaborated with many amazing people and it has really helped me grow as a musician and human. Hopefully you’ve enjoyed it too, and we can continue this journey into sound together.

The Errant Space Podcast has been produced monthly since 2015. Its focus is improvised ambient and experimental sounds. It often features interesting collaborations with innovative musicians, as well as studio creations and live performances by Errant Space.

Errant Space is a project of composer/sound artist Craig Chin. Its goal is spatio-temporal dilation through sound. Performances are site-specific, spontaneous compositions influenced by both the physical characteristics of the space they are performed in and the occupants of that space.
