Nuestra Música: LA GUITARRA (Audio)
Today we are presenting the Acoustic Guitar as the main instrument for the entire show. From Classical composer like Albeniz to popular composer like Eduardo Falú. From the Latinx Folklore, to tango, Flamenco and some jazzy arrangements
We start with Paco Peña and Ramon Algeciras with Tico Tico, Pepe Romero followed with Isaac Albeniz Tango, Opus 165, and the show also features great guitarist like Eduardo Falu, Cuarteto de Guitarras de Costa Rica, Oscar Aleman, Ernesto Mendez, Ricardo Perreira, Fernando Alvin, Manolo Santurce, Antonio Bribiesca, Juan Serrano and Sabicas.
“Nuestra Música,” “Our Music,” presents the rhythms and folklore of Latin America, Spain, Portugal, and Cape Verde. From Tango to Flamenco and all Latinx music in between. The show explores the native instruments, languages, and traditions played in 22 countries and one territory. Other than Spanish and Portuguese, "Nuestra Música" presents songs in Quechua, Mapuche, Guaraní, Nahuatl, Gallego, Spanish Basque, and Catalán. Among many styles we present: Tango, Chacarera, Baguala, Zamba with a Z and Samba with an S, Bossa Nova, Cumbia, Llanero, Vallenato, Merengue, Parrandera, Son, Bolero, Ranchera, Corrido, Marimba, Fado, Flamenco, Sevillanas, Jota, Blues, Jazz, Danzon, Mambo, and many more.
