Sam Sebren, creator of The Nothing Is Real Radio Hour, has been experimenting with feedback sounds using microphones, radios, televisions, telephones, stereo speakers, amplifiers, and processing effects. At a time when many scientists and environmentalists are increasingly looking at closed ecological systems (CES), or loops, for sustainable solutions to pressing global issues, Sebren examines electronic methods of looping (a signal fed back from the output of a device, to the input and then back to the output), and created a sound collage made from his recent recordings. Parts of the collage include excerpts from a recent composition, "Contaminated", plus material Sebren recorded with frequent collaborator, WGXC programmer Tyson Hauf (Zoom, deceived), and also with guitarist Sam Rosen (Boy+Rocket, Tree Collage) who uses multiple looping effects.
