Tracking The Odds: Aki Onda, Alan Licht, Michael Snow (Audio)

An improvising trio of installation and sound artist Aki Onda, guitarist and journalist Alan Licht, and visual artist and filmmaker Michael Snow recorded for the Roulette Concert Series in 2007. They describe their tools as synthesizer, shortwave radio, cassettes, electronics, guitar, piano, amplifiers, glissandos, dynamics, hiss, electrical interference, feedback, and loops. Individually, they have worked with legendary artists from Albert Ayler and Tony Conrad to Eye Yamatsuka, Arto Lindsay, and Christian Marclay.
