This episode was recorded at the Cocoon Theatre in Poughkeepsie, NY during their Beckett Festival.

I played in the lobby before and after a performance of Samuel Beckett’s Happy Days. The first third of the podcast was recorded pre-show, the last part was after the show. I think its interesting to hear how the play’s performance effected my performance – that Beckett sure does take one to a weird place!

The Errant Space Podcast has been produced monthly since 2015. Its focus is improvised ambient and experimental sounds. It often features interesting collaborations with innovative musicians, as well as studio creations and live performances by Errant Space.

Errant Space is a project of composer/sound artist Craig Chin. Its goal is spatio-temporal dilation through sound. Performances are site-specific, spontaneous compositions influenced by both the physical characteristics of the space they are performed in and the occupants of that space.
