The Art of the Hudson Valley: Donald McKinney, Kenneth Polinskie (Audio)

Sep 06, 2018

The Beat Goes On: For over four and a half decades, art dealer Donald McKinney and artist papermaker Kenneth Polinskie have shared a lifetime’s journey of love and art. McKinney, a noted international art dealer, will share anecdotes spanning a 40-year career that touched on the work of Jackson Pollock to Keith Haring. The couple met in the 1970s while working for a well-known 57th Street gallery. Polinskie’s career included one-man shows in New York City, and they traveled together setting up art fair booths. Mr. Polinskie is currently setting up a new studio and handmade papermill in Claverack and preparing for an open house exhibition at their studio in October 2018.
