In this edition of Sprouts we'll hear multiple indigenous voices speak about Earth Day and climate change. Judith LeBlanc, a member of the Caddo tribe of Oklahoma and the director of the Native Organizers Alliance, speaks about what it means for indigenous people to organize in the 21st century. Joseph Orozco, a member of the Hoopa Valley Tribe and station manager of KIDE in Hoopa, CA, speaks about how climate change has effected both the land and traditional ceremonies of the tribe. He narrates lessons of the past and how they can inform present struggles and help develop a future after capitalism. And Michael from KOJB speaks with many community members of the Leech Lake Reservation on Earth Day and thoughts of the future. Produced by Sprouts.
