An all musical program featuring duo-pianists Arthur Gold and Robert Fizdale, whose 1944 New York debut included two works written for the occasion by John Cage. Included here, Johannes Brahms' "Variations on a Theme by Haydn," Opus 56b, Robert Schumann's "Spanische Liebeslieder" (William Warfield singing baritone) and Francis Poulenc's "Concerto for Two Pianos" with Leonard Bernstein and the New York Philharmonic.
