Donald Drumpf Theatre: Vol. 28 Scaramouche. First, our hero gives a speech to the Boy Scouts, and then says goodbye to an old friend and welcomes a new one. Then our hero considers firing Jeff Sessions, or giving everyone pardons. Songs and skits this week from Queen ("Another One Bites the Dust," "Bohemian Rhapsody"), Bob Marley ("Time Will Tell"), Peter Serafinowicz ("Sassy Trump Tells Reporter Quiet") Lynn Anderson ("I Never Promised You a Rose Garden"), Spike Jones ("Der Fuhrer's Face"), and Golden Earring ("Twilight Zone"). Clips and excerpts from Donald Drumpf; Sarah Huckabee Sanders; The Captain in "Cool Hand Luke;" Sean Spicer; Wolf Blitzer; Stephen Colbert on "The Late Show;" Seth Meyers on "Late Night;" Trevor Noah on "The Daily Show;" Boneitus, Frey, and The Professor from "Futurama;" Anthony Scaramucci; "Scaramouche" by Rafael Sabatini; Hallie Jackson; Jake Tapper; Joe Pesci in "Goodfellas;" Maggie Haberman; Jeff Sessions; Anthony Atamanuik and Peter Grosz on "The President Show;" Nicolle Wallace; Chris Hayes; Sari Horwitz; Steve Schmidt; Chris Jansing; and Jay Sekulow. An original radio theatre show each week, with most sounds culled from the previous week, about a fictional, theatrical presidency. Contradictions tell the story, with songs, skits, and clips from political news shows and late-night comedy routines. The definition of "radio theatre" is stretched here, with an updated Dickie Goodman and/or Richard Foreman-meets-mashup style sometimes, and a more straightforward take other weeks. Currently, the network has ordered another 15 episodes, but there are threats of cancellation. Anyone who would like to work on a production, or have their work air in this timeslot, should contact info@wgxc.org. Wikipedia: "Scaramuccia (literally "little skirmisher"), also known as Scaramouche or Scaramouch, is a stock clown character of the Italian commedia dell'arte. The role combined characteristics of the zanni (servant) and the Capitano (masked henchman). Usually attired in black Spanish dress and burlesquing a don, he was often beaten by Harlequin for his boasting and cowardice."
