Knock on Wood Comedy Show aired on WGXC from March 2011 to June 2015.

Knock On Wood is an upbeat crazy program that harks back to the golden age of radio. It features original comedy sketches with voice characterizations and sfx. Steve co-stars with his dummy, Harry. As far as seeing his lips move on radio...he works on the honor system. Knock On Wood also has guest musicians and authors and features thousands of comedy recordings. Knock On Wood masquerades as a kids' show but is actually for the whole family.

Steve has been acting like a nut for a loooonnng time. He is a magician, ventriloquist, radio personality, author, musician and songwriter. Steve performs hundreds of times a year for schools, libraries, theaters, meetings of the tri-lateral commission and be-ins. Steve has also written dozens of songs for "Bear in the Big Blue House" a international TV show produced by Jim Henson Productions. Steve has had a profile written about him in the New Yorker magazine, he's been a commentator for All Things Considered on NPR and has published books and CDs with Scholastic, Crown, Sterling Publishing Meadowbrook Press, and Troll. His latest series of four magic books is published by Capstone Press.
