We again present North Indian music performed by Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt on an instrument of his own creation: The Mohan Veena. This instrument, based on a modified arch-top Hawaiian Guitar, has not only 4 melody strings and 5 drone strings but also another 12 sympathetic strings all tuned to the mode of the raga being played. The tabla player on these pieces is Sukhvinder Singh Namdhari.
