Thursday Afternoon Show with Justin Calder and Rebecca Borrer: Tommy Lam (Audio)

May 08, 2025

Tommy Lam is one of the co-owners of Enoki in Saugerties. The original Enoki shop was located in the same spot as the current WGXC studio!

On May 10 and 11, in conjunction with Basilica Farm and Flea, Shirley and Tommy are organizing a hybrid artisanal market—food market—exhibition—performance space called Reflections of Home in the Back Gallery space at Basilica The event is free to attend and specifically highlights Asian diasporic artists living in the Hudson Valley, NYC, and the larger region.

A limited run show, hosted by Wave Farm staff member Justin Calder and co-hosted by Rebecca Borrer, broadcasting live from the front window of the WGXC Catskill Studio at 393 Main St. Catskill, NY. In-studio / pedestrian interviews, local event listings, call-ins, live music, and other chance connections will be sought on air.

As WGXC Community Engagement and program assistant, Justin Calder works closely with Wave Farm Radio Program Director, Meredith Kooi, in executing and maintaining WGXC programming and bolstering Wave Farm’s engagement with our broad constituencies through social media, on-air interviews, and other avenues of community participation. Justin is a sound and visual artist in the upper Hudson Valley with a talent for drawing people together and losing in rock, paper, scissors.

Rebecca Borrer remains both ubiquitous and a mystery. She has many musical offerings and provides spiritual and technological solutions for the 21st Century. rrb.life
