In this broadcast there is a discussion of the importance of independent book stores, how they work and why they fill cultural needs, other than selling books, for the towns they are part of. Guests will be Brian Donahue, founder and owner of the Inquiring Minds Bookstore in New Paltz and Saugerties; Kristi Gibson, owner of Magpie Bookshop in Catskill; and Karen Schoemer, local writer and performer currently working at the Rodgers Book Barn in Hillsdale.
