Suzanne Snider, founder and director of the Oral History Summer School, will be in the studio to discuss the roving sound installation, "Automative Archive." The automobile/radio procession will memorialize and celebrate the lives and work of six Hudson area residents who have passed away in the last few years: Lynn Carr, Mary Potts, Christina Malisoff, Frank Martino, Pam Badila (speaking about Elombe Badila) and Harold Hanson. The procession will be featured as a special broadcast on WGXC 90.7-FM and wgxc.org, 2 p.m., Sun., Aug. 23. Plus pianist Bob Murad will discuss his new release on Sunjump Records. The WGXC Afternoon Show features local news, interviews with community leaders and personalities, a rundown of local and regional events, weather updates, and more about and for the community.
