Alice Hall programmer

Alice lives in Brooklyn, NY and is from the Midwest. She received a BA in Theater with a certificate in community art practices from Temple University. She has been involved in community radio making for the past decade, and likes making things in various mediums such as radio, video, set design, or whatever form an idea takes that day.

Regardless of the medium, her goal is to tell a story based in an alternate reality formed from the past and future – one where screens, consumerism and isolation have faded, and dreamy, sci-fi forms of human connection are at the forefront. She likes things that are a little messy and DIY, sometimes even boring – things made simply to get an idea out and share it, things that remind people to pause and take a deep breath, things that spark new ideas, and she enjoys making things with friends the most.
