Composer/improviser and electronic artist Marcia Bassett in two performances: a duo for two synthesizers (The Buchla Music Easel) with performer Ted Gordon, from Roulette’s 2022 Mixology Festival, and a 2017 duo for electronics with vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Ka Baird. A frequent collaborator, Bassett’s projects include installation and immersive works; film, video, and dance; drone and trance pieces; as band leader; and through her solo releases as Zaimph, often incorporating prepared guitar.
