The Empire Justice Center recently released a report on Racial Disparities With Low Level Traffic Stops. People of color and low-income individuals are more harshly treated. Police Reform Project attorneys Jill Paperno and Katie Blum talked about the report with WOOC's Mark Dunlea. Also, tune in the WGXC Congressional Report, with news from the 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st Congressional Districts. And retired meteorologist Hugh Johnson spoke with WOOC's Alisha Washington and Brea Barthel for a look at climate and weather. This time they explored the horrendous Hawaiian wildfires, the role of winds from a tropical storm in spreading those fires, and the recent prediction of above-normal hurricanes in the Atlantic.
