May 13, 2016
Produced by many contributors.

Finnish multimedia artist Sampsa Pirtola, American producer Jordan Walker, painter and Free Columbia co-founder Laura Summer, and production designer and musician Tim Kowlaski spoke with Kieran Riley on May 2 on the "WGXC Afternoon Show" about their Lazarus Project exhibition May 14-21 in Hudson. The exhibition and performances are from the inaugural artist-in-residency at Free Columbia, which is based in Hillsdale. The show is at Inky Editions, a print-making studio at 112 Front St. near the Amtrak station in Hudson. The exhibition incorporates elements of painting, video, placed-based installation art, and participatory performance, during the week, with gallery hours from 4-9 p.m. and events at 7 p.m. each evening. Also, Peter Bateson, a member of an English Camphill community and exhibit curator, will discuss "World Wide Weave," on exhibit at the Solaris Center for the Social Arts through May 16 with Tom DiPietro and Ellen Thurston from the "WGXC Afternoon Show." Roseanne Cash's "Radio Operator" is the Song of the Day on the show.
