Today we are presenting the IV episode of Paises (Countries) a series of shows where we introduce 2 countries (out of our 22 countries and one territory) per show in 30 minutes segments.  Today is time for Cape Verde and Paraguay with the Creole style mixed with Portuguese of Cape Verde and the Guarani and Spanish style of Portugal.  Enjoy the show and keep listening to your community supported radio station.

“Nuestra Música,” “Our Music,” presents the rhythms and folklore of Latin America, Spain, Portugal and Cape Verde. From Tango to Flamenco and all Latinx music in between. The show explores the native instruments, languages and traditions played in 22 countries and one territory. Other than Spanish and Portuguese, Nuestra Música presents songs in Quechua, Mapuche, Guaraní, Nahuatl, Gallego, Spanish Basque, and Catalán. Among many styles we present: Tango, Chacarera, Baguala, Zamba with a Z and Samba with and S, Bossa Nova, Cumbia, Llanero, Vallenato, Merengue, Parrandera, Son, Bolero, Ranchera, Corrido, Marimba, Fado, Flamenco, Sevillanas, Jota, Blues, Jazz, Danzon, Mambo and many more.
