Nothing Is Real Radio Hour: SS space systems (Audio)

Nov 29, 2019
Created by Sam Sebren.

For this edition of the Nothing Is Real Radio Hour, listeners will hear selections from recorded works by SS space systems, a duo project since 2013 by NIRRH host Sam Sebren and collaborator Sam Rosen. SSss uses electronics, guitars, keyboards, synthesizers, percussion, field recordings, processed radio tuning, circuit bent toys, voice, and multiple other sources to create a combination of ambient drone, noise, dark ambient and other ethereal qualities in their experimental recordings and performances. For this program, SSss compositions featuring guitar work by Sam Rosen will be highlighted, for some mellow sounds to relax with over the Thanksgiving holiday. Tune in on Friday November 29 from 3-4pm and/or Saturday November 30 from 11am - 12pm to hear this show.

The Nothing Is Real Radio Hour, created by Sam Sebren broadcasts on WGXC 90.7-FM from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the fifth Friday (of months with 5 Fridays) and from 11am - 12pm on the fifth Saturday (of months with 5 Saturdays) as part of Wave Farm's Transmission Arts and Experimental Sound programming.
