That Driving Beat: 20241108

Nov 08, 2024: 10am - 12pm
WGXC 90.7-FM: Radio for Open Ears

90.7-FM in NY's Upper Hudson Valley and wgxc.org/listen everywhere
http://www.wgxc.org/

Hosted by James and Uwe.

That Driving Beat showcases rare and obscure soul, R&B, northern soul, popcorn, garage rock, British beat, and other Mod dance 45 rpm singles from the late 1950s to the early 1970s. The hosts play records from their own collections, and talk about the songs, artists, labels, the records themselves, and their experiences digging to find the hottest new 60-year old dusty records for their collections in record stores, flea markets, antique malls, and basements.

James and Uwe have been hosting the show weekly on Louisville's Art FM WXOX-LP 97.1 FM since February 2018.
