Tianna Kennedy and Lex Bhagat, , AIRtime Visiting Artist on WGXC 90.7-FM (Audio)

Oct 08, 2011
In conversation with Galen Joseph-Hunter.
This special edition of the WGXC Saturday Afternoon Show featured artists Alexis Bhagat and Tianna Kennedy. Bhagat and Kennedy discussed past projects and new directions in their work and life.

Alexis Bhagat's work is dedicated to the destruction of authorship and authority through the cultivation of new forms for radically poly-vocal sound, transmission of promiscuous conversation, and obsessive never-ending correspondence.

Kennedy’s experiments in transmission began as a logical extension of her literary and cello career as monthly improvisatory radio broadcasts in Bushwick, Brooklyn in 2003. Most recently Kennedy has been living in Delaware County New York in a town called Bovina Center and working on a farm in Hamden.
