Long Pause: On Air (Audio)

Jul 03, 2024

This month's broadcast theme highlights its own medium: air. We'll listen to songs and sounds inspired by and made from air as element, instrument, conduit.

"Long Pause" is an invitation to slow down into interstitial realms through sound. With a blend of song, field recording, archival audio, and conversation, the show explores the thin spaces between the ordinary and sacred, human and nonhuman, particular and universal, and visible and invisible, through a different sonic theme and/or medium each month.

Annie Reynolds lives in Hudson, NY. Her work and interests orient around collaborative narrative processes (oral history, spiritual direction, dreamwork). She loves the human voice, small objects, radio, and Pacific landscapes.
