"Hive Theory" is a radio series that begins with the honey bee colony and follows its connections into the world beyond it.

The beekeeping season is coming to a close. Honey from the Listening Apiary has been harvested, and winter preparations are well on their way.

Cold temperatures have brought on clustering, but warm days coupled with limited foraging resources has forced honey bees and others belonging to the order Hymenoptera to adapt to aggressive foraging behavior.
