Woodstockhausen is a bi-coastal festival dedicated to experimental music and synesthetic audiovisual performance. Since 1998, this gathering has brought together local, regional, national, and international artists to showcase boundary-pushing works in experimental music, synesthetic video, and experiential assemblage, sparking co-creative energies in an open and generative atmosphere. Woodstockhausen 25’ East takes place at the Turquoise Barn in Bloomville, NY - an old repurposed dairy farm with acres of meadows, mountains, forest, ponds, and barns. Artist Michael Milton built the venue, later shaped with Paul Geluso and Rhiannon Catalyst into a hub for immersive sound hybrid programming, including live video and radio broadcasts with partners like Unity Earth and Wave Farm Radio.
