This month’s "Poet Ray’d Yo" presents documentation of recent readings in the area, recorded by host Chris Funkhouser. Poets featured on the program are Michael Boughn, Cole Heinowitz, Pierre Joris, Vincent Katz, and George Quasha. The entirety of Joris’ reading, held in Rhinebeck on the occasion of his winning the T-Space Poetry Prize, is included. Quasha’s preverbs, recorded in a studio setting, are part of the authors’ ongoing PennSound project. Heinowitz and Katz were recorded at Familiar Trees in Great Barrington, and Boughn in Barrytown.

Blending words and sounds, bringing to the airwaves live performances as well as field and studio recordings by writers the host has crossed paths with over the course of a quarter century.
