British traditional singers John Roberts and Tony Barrand, along with Jeff Warner, Susan Warner and Davey Jones, sing sea shanties and tell stories of the Atlantic sailing packets of the late 19th century. WBAI's Barbara Oka introduces the program. The performance was part of the legendary WBAI Free Music Store series, which ran from 1969 to 1972, and was organized by Eric Salzman, former Music Director of WBAI.
