Is Lou Reed still relevant? From 1970, when he left the Velvet Underground, to 2011, when he released “Lulu” with Metallica, Reed recorded more than 20 albums. This broadcast features the highlights of his career in glam/art rock, proto-punk, and noise and examines whether this work still resonates today.
Formerly called "The Morning Sampler," on this show host Brendan Donegan plays, "an eclectic mix of old and new blues, electronica, pop, RnB, country, Latin, rock, rap, and a bit of classical music" live from WGXC's Hudson studio.
