This month’s guest on Poet Ray’d Yo is writer and translator Pierre Joris, a Luxembourgian transplant who now resides in Brooklyn. Joris is the author of twenty books of poetry, an award winning translator of Paul Celan’s work, and with Jerome Rothenberg edited two volumes of the Poems for the Millennium anthologies.
Blending words and sounds, bringing to the airwaves live performances as well as field and studio recordings by writers the host has crossed paths with over the course of a quarter century.
