On this 10th anniversary of “the attack that changed the world,” we will explore the notion and importance of turning points, and place it in the context of flooding in Greene and Columbia Counties. Some moments and decisions and events in the course of our personal lives as well as the course of history create pivot points, where it seems that the axis of reality is swaying on a fulcrum. September 11th is certainly one of those days, and the damage wrought by Hurricane Irene. On TBD we wonder: what are some others?
