In the first hour, an interview with Shevar Thomas, aka "DJ Var", host of the bi-monthly show Friday Night Vibes Session. DJ Var will be spinning for WGXC’s Sixth Annual New Year’s Eve Party on Dec. 31 at the Half Moon in Hudson. The WGXC Morning Show is a radio magazine show featuring local news, interviews with community leaders and personalities, reports on cultural issues, a rundown of public meetings, local and regional events, with weather updates, and more about and for the community, made mostly through volunteers in the community through WGXC. Some reports come from our partner station, WOOC-LP in Troy, out of The Sanctuary for Independent Media. Broadcast live from the Acra studio at the Wave Farm Study Center.
