About Tardigrade: This meditation will guide you to the distant planet of Ankhara, a fantastical world from the Spacetime Diaries universe. There, you’ll merge your consciousness with a tardigrade. Tardigrades, Earth’s hardiest animal, are theorized to have arrived here on the back of a comet. In this meditation, you’ll meet some distant-cousin tardigrades that have evolved into chatty social creatures. Follow them as they hunt parasitic worms, and then listen to their poetry. The first soundscape you’ll hear is a sonification of the Cat’s Eye nebula by NASA. After that, you’ll hear compositions by Portland-based trap producer Gurl Cosmo.
