What do bicycles, compost, and youth media have to do with each other? The "WGXC Afternoon Show" team -- in collaboration with Radio Explosion -- heads to one block in North Troy, NY, where the seeds of something are growing. We'll hear how a handful of neighboring organizations and projects -- Collard City Growers, Troy Bike Rescue, Missing Link Street Ministry, and the Sanctuary for Independent Media -- are working together and with neighborhood youth to transform their city-block. We'll also hear some voices from NADA Hudson, an excerpt of Sam Pratt's Saturday talk, entitled "A Woodchuck’s Underground History of the Hudson Valley", and other weekend events; plus local news, live music, and more.
