Charles Bernstein is Professor Emeritus at the University of Pennsylvania, where he is also co-Director of PennSound. Bernstein is the author of numerous books of poetry and criticism, a fellow at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and in 2019 he was awarded the Bollingen Prize for Poetry.
