In the latest Hudson Valley Word of Mouth segment, Julia Joern shares her recommendations for a few farmers markets throughout the region.

Selected highlights are Ulster County's Saugerties Farmers Market, located in the heart of the village; Greene County's Coxsackie Farmers Market, featuring local favorites, See & Be Kitchen and Lime Kiln Farm (both recently presented on this show); Columbia County's Hudson Farmers Market, now in its 24th year; Rensselaer County's Troy Waterfront Farmers Market, which includes the community composting initiative led by the volunteer group, Troy Zero Waste; and Saratoga County's Saratoga Farmers Market, which began in a small parking lot in 1978.
