Mar 08, 2022

After the local news at noon, a tribute to composer/musician/philosopher Ornette Coleman, one day before what would have been his 92nd birthday. This WGXC Pledge Drive broadcast will feature Coleman's compositions played by other musicians in a variety of settings and styles, tempos, and dynamics, spanning his 60+ years of composing music. Special thanks to Max Crandall for his many recommendations for this show.
